Pilot may board a vessel at wind less 15 m/s and not over 4 Beaufort sea.
Anchorage:
for vessel with draft over 6,00m bw – outer roads on both sides of the approaching channel near buoy #2; (46-36,73N; 36-36,04E);
for vessel with draft less 6,00m bw – outer roads on both sides of the approaching channel near buoy #10; (46-40N; 36-40E);
Berdyansk harbour consists of two basins:
The Western basin – not protected;
The Eastern basin – is protected from the west by the dam and from south west is protected by the breakwater.
Berths 1-6 – protected by breakwater;
Berths 7-9 – not protected.
Approaching channel: length 20 km; 90 m wide; depth 8,55m; max draft 7,9m bw

Restrictions:
Max draft 7,9 bw –all berths; max loa 205m, max loa up to 220m for berths 7,8 is possible with harbour master permission.
Daytime and with wind speed less 8 m/s. mooring, unmooring, shifting for vessels with loa over 170m.
